ABOUT MILITARY AVIATION HERITAGE EXPERIENCE

Welcome,

MAHE is a community focused enterprise established in 2022 by ex RAAFA WA Aviation Heritage Museum Manager,Trevor Fettis, to provide new aviation heritage experiences for both Members and visitors – to reflect on the past, to be informative and to inspire both young and old.

Throughout his career as a Chartered Surveyor (Retired), both in the UK and Australia, and bringing up a family of three with his wife of now approaching 40 years, his interest in aviation heritage has always remained very strong.

MAHE is a product of his own long held and specific passion for military aviation heritage – and, now in his mid 60s, he has decided to explore this further – resulting in the introduction of The Australian Airmen in Europe WW2 Bomber Command Airfield Tour and MAHE’s Students Flight Experience, which are MAHE’s first VR military based aviation experiences available to the public.

MAHE has also been established to work with and support others within the wider heritage community – to assist both future and exisiting heritage centres to embrace, widen and expand their use of immersive experiences – appreciating that strong relationships together with a shared vision can often lead to worthwhile and positive outcomes – the Tornado GR4 Story is a good example of this.

Working closely with the Totally & Partially Disabled Veterans of WA (TPDVWA) MAHE has now been able to introduce it’s new Living History Group, “MAHE Re-enactment”, together with a new Members arrangement allowing MAHE to move forward with a variety of plans for the future – requiring a wide range of skill sets for those wishing to become involved

Please note, being Community focused, any income received by MAHE will be used only for costs and expenses and investment into future MAHE projects – with any surplus funds being paid to Not For Profits(NFP) groups involved in Military Heritage, such as TPDVWA

For the future and once firmly established, it is intended that MAHE will remain sustainable by evolving into a NFP itself, with an elected and independent Committee of Management

Thank you for visiting MAHE
